What is Qlone?

Qlone is an all-in-one 3D tool for everyone. We have made it easy and fast to scan real objects, using your phone's camera, modify them in app and seamlessly export the result to many platforms, 3D file formats and 3D printers… all on your iPhone or iPad.

Is it available on Android as well?

Yes, it is available on both iOS and Android but the iOS version is more advanced.

Is it Free?

Qlone is free to download and scan but exporting the 3D models, scanning in 4K resolution (iOS) and AR view with Animations (iOS) are premium features that require an upgrade to premium.

How do I use Qlone?

Scanning real objects has never been easier. Print the included AR mat, place your object in the middle of the mat and let the Augmented Reality dome guide you through the scanning process. Scan the object from two different angles, auto merged for complete 3D results.

Where do I get the AR mat?

Print the mat directly from the app with AirPrint or send it as a mail and print out.

Is the processing taking place in the cloud?

With Qlone, there is no waiting time, all processing is done live on your phone in seconds.

In which 3D file formats can I export?

You can export models in a variety of formats for use in other 3D tools – OBJ, STL, FBX, GLB, USDZ, PLY, X3D. Send your unlocked OBJ models to other Qlone users by email and they can import them into the app by long pressing the ZIP attachment.

Can I modify or clean the 3D model in the app?

With the integrated tools in the app you can optimize and modify your 3D model without needing to export them to other sophisticated software.

To which platforms can I export and share my 3D models?

You can upload and share on Sketchfab, 3D print on i.materialise, Shapeways or sell your models on CGTrader, all with a direct upload from the app. You can also share the models on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp and many other platforms.
